Caribbean Images is an informative and
entertaining television program which reaches out
to the Caribbean and African-American communities
in the New York tri-state area. We cover news and
feature stories across a wide range of topics
including entertainment, culture, sports, as well
as social and political issues. We also provide
local news coverage and information from the
metropolitan area, as well as news coverage from
the Caribbean Islands.

Host’s Biography
Peter Pouchon was
born in
Haiti. He was raised in Brooklyn, New York. He has
a diverse record of accomplishments, with more
than 14 years experience in television, radio and
print production.
He received a degree in Non-Broadcast
communications. After studying acting at H.B.
Studio International for two years, Peter obtained
minor parts in movies like “Jungle Fever”, “King
of New York” and “Alma’s Rainbow.” Utilizing his
professional training as an actor, Peter has
brought high style and excitement to his career as
host of Caribbean Images.
Peter Pouchon has received several awards from
city and state elected officials for community
service. He served as host for the summer night
Swing at Lincoln Center as well as a numerous
community events in the Metropolitan area. Peter
is working on his first film “Yon Denye Chans”
(One Last Chance) to be release by April 2010. He
is the Exec. Vice President of National
Association of Haitian American Journalists (NAHAJ)
and also known as a photojournalist. Peter is the
organizer for Caribbean Images Annual Dr. Martin
Luther King, Celebration. January 2010 will mark
the 14th Anniversary for Caribbean Images. Peter
has conducted interview with presidential
Candidates, community leaders, Athletes, US
Senator Hilary Clinton, NY Governor David
Paterson, Mayors Giuliani, Dinkins, Bloomberg
Coretta Scott King, Johnny Cockran, and Caribbean
Head of States.
